Role Description

REACH is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Coordinator to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. This is a full-time, office-based position supporting the project management and estimating team. The successful candidate will assist in project preparation, estimation support, progress tracking, trade coordination, and client communication. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth workflow from project award through execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation of project estimates and take-offs
  • Support tendering and bid submission processes
  • Prepare and organize project documentation
  • Track project progress and provide regular updates
  • Coordinate with trades, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Communicate with clients regarding project updates and documentation
  • Receive and review new claims, change orders, and project-related documents
  • Support scheduling and internal workflow coordination
  • Maintain organized digital and physical project records

Qualifications

  • Experience in construction coordination or project support preferred
  • Knowledge of estimating processes and construction documentation
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Working knowledge of construction practices and industry standards
  • Experience with Xactimate is a strong asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
