Role Description
REACH is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Coordinator to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. This is a full-time, office-based position supporting the project management and estimating team. The successful candidate will assist in project preparation, estimation support, progress tracking, trade coordination, and client communication. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth workflow from project award through execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation of project estimates and take-offs
- Support tendering and bid submission processes
- Prepare and organize project documentation
- Track project progress and provide regular updates
- Coordinate with trades, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Communicate with clients regarding project updates and documentation
- Receive and review new claims, change orders, and project-related documents
- Support scheduling and internal workflow coordination
- Maintain organized digital and physical project records
Qualifications
- Experience in construction coordination or project support preferred
- Knowledge of estimating processes and construction documentation
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Working knowledge of construction practices and industry standards
- Experience with Xactimate is a strong asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
